What we are doing about Covid-19

Alive or not, we’re committed to Alife.
Alife wants to do our best to safeguard everyone against COVID-19 and create a safe living space for you.

From our very first project, we have kept a close watch on the COVID pandemic. The safety and health of every single one of our colleagues and partners was our primary concern in the process. And we pledge to follow all the guidelines and regulations issued by Central Epidemic Command Center, Nation Health Command Center (CECC).

All the facilities at the Alife headquarter office, Alife FL and Alife WCH are equipped with stringent hygiene and protection measures to provide all our guests a safe environment.

Let us create an ideal life with peace of mind together.

Gain new inspiration for life within a 30-minute timeframe

“A reader never loses the sense of wonder.”

A Non-Selling Reading Space

For Alife, an ideal lifestyle includes reading. "a reader" is a new type of bookstore jointly planned by Alife and Unicorn Project. They do not sell books but instead select a theme every two months and curate a book display chosen by the founder of Unicorn Project, Lee Hui-chen. The aim is to provide readers with a chance to be alone, unwind, read, contemplate, and gain new inspiration for life within a 30-minute timeframe.

A Comprehensive Reading Project Combining Books, Exhibitions, and Activities

In addition to static book exhibitions, each curated period also collaborates with different partners to organize interactive activities such as lectures, salons, workshops, and more. Starting with reading as the foundation, this comprehensive project combines books, exhibitions, and activities, allowing readers to venture into the unknown and discover countless new worlds.

2023/11 | Literary Bookstore

Taking over from the previous manga bookstore, this edition of a reader focuses on literature. From Milan Kundera's masterpiece "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," classic works by Haruki Murakami, to the fantastical Taiwanese tale "The Song of Beasts Spirits"... a total of 30+ wonderful works are showcased.

This time, a reader has collaborated with Alife's sustainable development ecosystem's brand friends, "植蘊 (Planting)" and "朱雀 Suzaku Curry Shop." Each has recommended books and introduced limited theme dining. By participating in the thematic program, readers can receive a limited-edition souvenir, the "a reader Literary Communication," curated by the Grass Character Head Planning. This communication is crafted in the form of a letter, excerpting over 40 book quotes from this reading list. Readers can write their reflections on the books, and after the exhibition, a reader will send out this communication, allowing the harvest of reading to be shared with others in an interesting way.
